Chinderträff –
a playgroup based on the philosophy of Emmi Pikler

The “Chinderträff” playgroup at the Chinderschtuba is suitable for children aged between 1 and a half and 3 and a half, and is based on the approaches of Emmi Pikler. Children are given the opportunity to engage in social contact with other children in small, manageable groups, and to fulfil their urges to play, move and learn about the world. The 7 children are supervised by two caregivers for two hours. Playing, singing, eating together and making things together are all part of the “Chinderträff”. It’s extremely important for us that parents get an insight into what we do at the “Chinderträff”. We therefore regularly send photos home, and we have a parents’ evening once every semester. We give parents detailed feedback at the end of every “Chinderträff”.

Timetable

  • Arrival and drop-off between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
  • 9:15 a.m. Start the day together with a song
  • Followed by free play and choice of activity: e.g. modelling clay, painting, kinetic sand Malen, Zaubersand
  • 10:00 a.m. Mid-morning snack together
  • Followed by a little goodbye ritual in a circle
  • The children can be picked up again from 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Chinderträff 2

Playgroup with integrated activity

On Monday mornings, we hold a playgroup for 6 children from ages 3 and upwards. During the playgroup year, the children are given the opportunity to engage in different activities in blocks (5 to 6 times in a row), allowing them to get to know the various activities and discover what they are interested in.

Topics covered during the playgroup

  • Discovering soundscapes
  • Tiere rund um unser Dorf
  • Children’s yoga
  • Painting
  • Children’s dance

Timetable

The children can engage with the activity for as long as their motivation and attention
span allows, and can then come away from the activity and play.
Children with initial difficulties have the option to
start to engage with the topic as soon as they are ready
Of course, alongside the specific activity there’s also
a joint mid-morning snack, lots of free play and the chance
to be creative.

Chinderträff

auf dem Bauernhof

1 Mal im Monat haben die Kinder die Möglichkeit, das Leben auf einem Bauernhof hautnah zu erleben und dabei spielerisch zu lernen. Mit unserem erfahrenen Bauer Matthias und der lustigen Handpuppe Hanni werden wir gemeinsam spannende Abenteuer erleben.

 

Timetable

Die Kinder werden von uns um 8:45 Uhr an der Strasse in Empfang genommen, Gemeinsam laufen wir zum Sanderhof und starten den Morgen mit einem gemeinsamen Ritual.
Anschliessend erkunden wir gemeinsam mit dem Bauer Matthias den Bauernhof. Hier gibt es der Jahreszeit entsprechend immer etwas zu tun und zu erleben.
Nach getaner Arbeit oder Spass und Spiel gibt es eine kleine Zwischenmahlzeit.
Danach bleibt Zeit zum Spielen, Erkunden oder Gemütlichsein.
Wir beenden den Morgen mit einem Abschlusskreis und bringen um 11 Uhr die Kinder wieder zurück an die Strasse.
